As Denis Leary said, "I've got two words for Don Henley: Joe Fucking Walsh." I don't listen much to music of my youth (late Sixties and the Seventies), too many memories of too much alcohol, assorted chemicals, and immature behavior.
But their second release still kicks major ass. The Walsh-led edition of the band opened for the Who on one of their tours of the U.K. and more than held their own in front of rabid Who fans.
Standout track: "The Bomber: Closet Queen/Bolero/Cast Your Fate to the Wind." Subsequent pressings of this album had "Bolero" removed from the mini-medley due to objections from the estate of Ravel. But it was restored in the re-mastered reissue on Compact Disc.
